This plus mode is a way to say thank you for spending a few dollars to support the project. It gives you access to new advanced features:

• Use dedicated process for each download task – a more robust and aggressive way to download files1.
• Intercept Apple Safari or Mozilla Firefox downloads – the easiest way to integrate Progressive Downloader with your browser.
• Configurations – use separate settings for different Wi-Fi networks or browsers.
• Instant video downloads – download from YouTube without delays.
• Working mirror search – search the Internet for an alternative source of a file that cannot be found using the link provided.

The guide below is only to enable the plus mode in the site version, the Mac App Store version already includes as many features as possible.

This procedure is needed only once per Mac so if you re-install or upgrade macOS all the features will be still there.

• Remove currently installed site version from your Mac and don't forget to empty the trash bin.
• Install PD from the Mac App Store.
• Install Progressive Downloader version 3.0 or newer from the site.
• Give Progressive Downloader Full Disk Access.
• Launch Progressive Downloader.
• You will be notified that the Mac App Store version is not needed anymore and can be removed.
• Check that the main window title has the "Plus" word and some new features have become available in application preferences.
